This is a high quality reproduction of a rare german wwii zf41 adapter base. This unit is fully guaranteed to fit and function precisely. These are very difficult to make because of the number of machining operations required and expertise needed, and it is of superb craftmanship. Unlike other zf41 bases it does not require a gunsmith to remove and reinstall the rear sight base. It takes about 10 minutes to install without any special tools, as it simply replaces teh rear sight leaf.
